Back in 2018, out Scout Section created a scale model of our solar system - they used a 75cm Yoga ball as the Sun, then build scale models of the planets and their moons, and then stepped out the distances that their models should be to scale. I think most of the scouts were surprised how 'spaced out' the planets are...

Unit 241 VicJam Video

Unit 241 at Victorian Jamboree (VicJam) 2021-22 was formed by 1st Bennettswood, 1st Ferntree Gully and Mont Albert North scout groups. VicJam had a number of challenges including some very hot and dry days along with ground that seemed harder than concrete, but the scouts and leaders had an incredible time and made many great friends.
